Bon Voyage!

The countdown to summer has finally started, and I’m BEYOND excited. School is just about finished and that means one thing: freedom. I just finished confirming my summer plans and I’m happy to say that I’m going to be travelling back to Europe for about two weeks. If you still remember, I had a goal of 5 cities that I wanted to visit in 2015. The list included: Berlin, Reykjavik, Prague, Tokyo, and Amsterdam. Luckily, I’ll be able to cross off 2 of those cities on my list! The cities that I’m visiting this summer are as follows: Frankfurt, Germany Munich, Germany Vienna, Austria Prague, Czech Republic Budapest, Hungary Warsaw, Poland Oswiecim, Poland Amsterdam, Netherlands Belgium, Brussels Paris, France My family and I love to travel across Europe whenever we get the chance to. We love all the culture, the beautiful sights and the history. (Not to mention the food is AMAZING!)…

5 Cities I want to visit in 2015

Recently, I did a post on my top 5 favourite cities. This post will be dedicated to 5 cities that I wish to visit this year. I found it extremely difficult to pick JUST 5. If I could, I would travel the world. Most of the cities that I’ve picked are in Europe, which is no coincidence. I consider Europe to be the best continent for travelling. These have been on my list for years and years and hopefully, I’ll be lucky enough to travel there this year! 1. Amsterdam, Netherlands Amsterdam is definitely at the top of my list. It’s pretty similar to Venice, in my opinion, so I have every reason to want to visit. I was inspired to go here after watching the movie, The Fault in Our Stars, which was partly set in Amsterdam. The views are incredible, there’s so much to see and do and there’s…

My Favourite 5 Cities

I love travelling. I love it so much. I’ve been fortunate enough to travel all across the world, from the United States all the way to Australia. I love visiting new places and meeting new people. Every city has something different to offer so I never get bored.  There’s always something new to see, something new to do or something new to eat(one of my favourite parts is trying the local food.) The people are different and the overall atmosphere is different. When my family goes to visit  a new place, we don’t dawdle. From morning to night, we don’t stop walking so we can hit as many landmarks or “points of interest” as possible. Every city that I’ve been to, I loved. But I still managed to pick out a top 5. These are the cities which I would go back to visit in a heartbeat. 1. Venice, Italy I…

DIY Map Cork Board

I don’t know about you, but I love to travel. I love to see new parts of the world and meet people from all walks of life. I’m fortunate enough to have travelled all over the world. I recently stumbled upon a great idea of making a map cork board, where I pin every single place I’ve ever been. It’s such an easy thing to do and every time I see it, I’m reminded of the amazing memories of previous trips. There’s also a huge satisfaction in being able to add another pin to your map after returning from a trip.     What you will need: -Cork board/bulletin board -Map of the World -Map pins (You can find these at Staples or Walmart-I prefer the longer ones) I used a bulletin board that I bought from Staples and I was able to find a stick on map that was the…
