Oh hello, Mr. Sun

Sometimes, (or should I say most of the times), we are so swamped with work, daily responsibilities and chores, tasks, bills that need to be paid, homework and assignments that need to be done, floors that need to be cleaned- I think you’re getting the point. It clutters our minds to the point where we neglect everything else and focus solely on the next deadline or task that needs to be attended to. We’re so inundated with information, with chores, with everything. Reminders to do this, reminders to do that. Often times, we forget to really look up from our computers, our papers and our phones to appreciate the small things in life and really notice the details that typically go unseen. Seeing things through a new lens

Just yesterday, I bought my very first “professional” camera! In my previous posts, I was always using my family’s camera (the Nikon D800). It took AMAZING pictures, however, since I was starting to really emerge myself into the blogging atmosphere, I wanted my own camera. So I’m happy to say that I bought the… drumroll please… Nikon D5200! What I love most about this camera is that its size is extremely convenient. Unlike the Nikon D800, the D5200 is light, portable and very easy to use. The camera fits right into my hands and the body of the camera isn’t too bulky, either. The lens that I have is an 18-55mm one. I’m so excited to start using this camera. This summer, when I travel back to Europe, I’ll be able to take a ton of pictures. DIY Polaroid Wall

I love taking polaroids so much, whether it’s when I’m out with my friends or halfway across the world traveling. It’s such a great way to document memories and it looks so cute. But if you’re like me and you’ve taken so many that they can’t even fit in an album anymore, there’s a problem. If you’re looking for a way to proudly show off your adventures, you’ve come to the right place. I came across the idea of a polaroid clothesline online. What you will need: -Clothespins (I like the wooden ones; there’s a nice feel to it) -String -Push pins (preferably clear ones) -Obviously, lots of polaroids!
